Restaurant “Sovet 7”
"There was always something more here than just dinner."
When the Cosmos Hotel opened in 1979, it was intended to be a showcase of Soviet hospitality for foreign delegations, artists, businessmen, and diplomats. But there were also rooms in the building that were not accessible to everyone.
Sovet 7 was a former private club where negotiations were held, contracts were signed, and matters unmentioned in the newspapers were resolved at laid tables. Soviet officials, foreign journalists, and artists all once sat here, listening to jazz, savoring European cuisine, and engaging in conversations that shaped the course of history. The years passed, and the interior remained untouched. Now
Today, "Sovet 7" is open to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that era.
The restaurant is open from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
