The Vintage Music House will play "The Princess of Oysters"
The Vintage Music House at VDNKh continues to show world's silent films masterpieces.
On August 26, the next Saturday, the famous comedy "The Princess of Oysters" (Germany, 1919) will be shown here.
A hillarious story about the daughter of an oyster tycoon who dreamed of marrying a prince, but mistakenly became a wife of a silly valet is one of Ernst Lubich's favorite works in which he appeared as a director and script writer.
The premiere of the film took place in 1919 in Germany and was a great success, making the film one of the pearls of the era of silent cinema.
In the Vintage Music House at VDNKh the film will be shown with auctorial voice over by artist George Sergeev and musical accompaniment of maestro Daniel Maslov (the piano part).
The show starts at 18.00.
Ticket price: 600 rubles (children under 16: 300 rubles).
