WORLDSKILLS RUSSIA CHAMPIONSHIP, NOVEMBER 29-30 AT VDNKH

November 29-30, VDNKh Pavilion №75 will host a finale of the First National Intercollegiate Championship "Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia)", where more than 400 contestants - students of 77 Russian universities - will compete in their professional skill. The finalists will compete for awards in 36 WorldSkills competencies. They are divided into 6 thematic units: information and communication technologies, art and design, production and engineering technologies, construction, transport and logistics, social and personal services.
WorldSkills is an international movement, which sets raising of training standards as its main task under the motto "Make the world better by the power of your skill." The organizer of the event is the Young Professionals (Worldskills Russia) Union, which helps to implement world standards into the Russian system of secondary special and higher education. As a result of the competition, a number of recommendations will be developed to improve educational programs based on WorldSkills standards.
Participants and guests of the event are invited to stay at the Cosmos hotel located only a 10 minutes walk from the VDNKh complex. Moreover, until December 3, the hotel offers special prices for accommodation - a 30% discount for rooms of the Standard category!
