THE 'ABILIMPICS' NATIONAL PROFESSIONAL SKILLS CHAMPIONSHIP FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, NOVEMBER 20-22 AT VDNKH

November 20 to 22, VDNKh will host the “Abilimpics” National Professional Skills Championship for people with disabilities. Its goal is to develop the professional inclusion of people with disabilities and health limitations on the labor market.

The championship will help people with disabilities and special needs to make decisions in the field of vocational education through professional skill contests, as well as assist young professionals and graduates with disabilities finding a job.

The Championship participants will be able to shape up their professional interests and will receive an incentive for further professional and personal growth.

The Abilimpics Championship will help identify and support talented children and young people with disabilities and health limitations, as well as will prepare volunteers to work with people with special needs.

Based on the results of the Championship, an expert community on vocational education and further employment of this category of citizens will be formed. Also, employers will be involved in such inclusive vocational education.
