On December 5, the exhibition “Appearance of a Hero. In search of Mikhail Bulgakov" will open in the “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” pavilion at VDNKh. This is a joint project of VDNKh and the Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov Museum, telling about the life of the author and the birth of his works.
The exhibition will showcase materials from more than ten museums and archives of Moscow and St. Petersburg. The exhibition is held as part of the program of the Russian and international inter-museum exchange "Resident".
The exhibition consists of three parts - “Follow me, my reader!”, “I am unfortunately not a hero” and “Extracting the master”. The exhibition will make guests think about the nature of literary works, the contribution the author makes to his characters, the freedom of the author and characters.
Bulgakov Museum is the first and only state museum of the writer in Russia established in 2007 in the legendary apartment number 50 at Bolshaya Sadovaya 10.

Dates and time: December 5, 2018 - March 31, 2019; excluding Mondays; 11:00 - 22:00.
Ticket price: 300 rubles for adults, 100 rubles for children aged 6 to 16, full-time students and pensioners. Free attendance for children under 6 and privileged categories of citizens.
