World Tourism Day - September 27

September 27 is the World Tourism Day. Cosmos Hotel congratulates all lovers of tourist trails on this holiday!
The World Tourism Organization established the World Tourism Day in 1979. The purpose of the holiday was to popularize the values of travel and tourism. And for forty years now this day has been celebrated on September 27.
In 2019, Moscow will celebrate the World Tourism Day on the eve of the official holiday, September 26. The motto of this day is "Tourism is an instrument of peace and dialogue between civilizations."
On this day, the Luzhniki Stadium will host a tournament of football teams of travel agencies, foreign embassies and other organizations working in the tourism sector.
The celebration will continue with a concert on the embankment of the Moscow River, and will end with festive fireworks.
You can get from the Cosmos Hotel to the Luzhniki Stadium by metro: take the train from the VDNKh station of the orange line and go to the Turgenevskaya station. Next. Change into the red line - Chistye Prudy station, and go to the Vorobyovy Gory station. Then walk a little less than one kilometer (this is almost nothing for a true tourist!) - and there you are!
