International Women's Day - March 8

Cosmos Hotel congratulates the lovely ladies with the most tender holiday of spring - March 8! We wish you a sea of flowers, care, hugs and love! While Cosmos is always there to bring you pleasure, and so does the main exhibition center of Russia - VDNKh.
We remind you that Cosmos Hotel is located very close to the Expo - only 5-10 minutes of easy walk away. Therefore, the hotel guests can easily participate in the celebration of the International Women's Day at VDNKh.
On March 8, you can attend the following events at VDNKh:
"Rocket" skating rink. A festive music program will be held on the rink from 18:00 to 23:00. The music band Cheese People will open the dance night. The musical festival will continue with the performance of Erica Lundmoen, whose meditative and at the same time energetic vocal is truly bewitching.
“Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” Pavilion. As part of the Winter Educational Program, the stage of the pavilion will host the romantic and energetic “Boris Grim & the Brothers Grim”. The team is known for hits “Kusturitsa”, “Eyelashes”, “Breath” and other songs. One can visit the show for free upon prior registration.
"City farm" educational center. On March 8, the educational center will have the Open Doors Day. Free-of-charge activities will be available for both children and adults::
- culinary master class "King of pancakes";
- hourly from 12:00 to 18:00 - master classes in applications made of hay and Maslennitsa-doll made of bast;
- at 13:30, guests of the “City Farm” will hear a story of how to milk a cow;
- 15:00 - tea party with an authentic farmer samovar;
- 16:00 - tour around the “Farm”.
Books Pavilion. A new meeting in a round of children's interactive events, which will take place on March 8 at 3:00 pm, will be called “The main characters of our favorite children's books”. Attendance is free upon prior registration.
At 18:00, the pavilion will host a festive lecture “Pop Divas. Women who managed”, dedicated to the life of the brightest and most extraordinary pop divas of past years. Attending a lecture is also free with prior registration.
