On July 8, Russia celebrates the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, timed to commemorate the day of saints Prince Peter and his wife Fevronia. The holiday is widely celebrated at VDNKh.
On this day, at 18:00, upon preliminary registration, guests of the VDNKh will be able to take a free tour around the VDNKh territory and get acquainted with the male and female images that adorn VDNKh. The participants of the excursion will start the route at the “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” pavilion, then pass the arch of the Northern entrance, past the pair sculptures of the Exhibition at the arch of the Main entrance and the Central pavilion No. 1 near the “Friendship of Nations” fountain.
At 20:00, a free concert of “Masha Maria” band will take place on the roof of the “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” pavilion. You can attend it upon preliminary registration.
In 2019, VDNKh celebrates its 80th anniversary.
