August 2 - Russian Airborne Troops Day

Airborne Troops Day is celebrated at various venues in Moscow. On August 2, 2019, paratroopers will gather at VDNKh, in addition to other locations. There will be concerts and performance shows by representatives of the airborne troops.

On August 2, the exhibition will host a concert of the laureates of the festival “For Russia, Airborne and Special Forces”, as well as competitions in power sports and hand-to-hand combat. Guests will have a chance to see a demonstration of weapons and equipment of the landing troops.

In addition, soldiers and veterans of the airborne troops will be awarded at VDNKh on this day.
