Concert by the "Picasso Kids" band on August 8 on the roof of the Worker and Kolkhoz Woman Pavilion

The legendary Moscow band “Picasso Kids” returns to the stage with a Russian-language program. On August 8 at 20:00, the band will perform on the roof of the “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” pavilion.

After five years of silence, the band has resumed their musical experiments where folk, rock and jazz music meet, all with a pinch of psychedelica. Since 2007, the band members have been living in Budapest and touring Europe to perform at the largest festivals and venues.

The music of the "Picasso Kids" band has changed over time, becoming more and more interesting. Rock-style experiments with Armenian folk in Ethnic Experiments, art rock "Depth", peppy eclectic album "Turbo Mayrik", "Gerda and Kai" album - half of these works were recorded in collaboration with Austrian, German, Slovak and Hungarian musicians.

The unique sound and catchy plastic vocals of the soloist Gaya Arutyunyan became the group's signature. Four years later, Picasso Kids announced a new creative page which will have a place for performances in Russia. The authors of the hit “Like Buddha” will give one of their first concerts on the roof of the “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” pavilion at VDNKh as part of the “Music on the Roof” project. Guests will hear both old, time-tested hits of the band and their new compositions.
